Privacy notice Christians for Israel International (a non-profit foundation)

Christians for Israel International (C4I) processes personal data in accordance with the applicable legislation.  We consider your privacy very important and carefully handle your personal data. Your personal data will only be used by or on behalf of us and will not be made available to third parties. Below you will find exactly what you can expect from us and which rules we adhere to.

Applicability

This privacy statement applies to the processing of:

  • personal information provided by visitors, donors, relations and volunteers and
  • data obtained as a result of your visit to and the use of our website.

Processing your data
C4I maintains a donor administration, in which personal details of other relations are also recorded. Relations are persons who have participated in an activity organized by C4I; who have signed up for one of the publications of C4I; or are involved (as a volunteer) in our ministry, but who are not donors.

C4I is a non-profit foundation that calls on its relations through campaigns to contribute to the objective of our foundation. The work of C4I is mainly financed by donations from donors. We collect personal data (name, address, place of residence, telephone number, and email address) in order to be able to inform you about our work and to ask you for financial support. Your personal data is collected on the website when you register for one of our activities, newspaper, conferences or other activities, and when you register as a donor or volunteer.

Financial data and personal data are collected to implement the agreement (donation, order, participation). This information is not provided to third parties for commercial purposes.

C4I is designated by the Dutch Tax Administration as a Public Benefit Organisation (ANBI).

View, change or delete data
You can request access to the data we have recorded about you at any time or have it changed or deleted. You can communicate your changes by e-mail: info@c4israel.org

You can also inform us if you no longer want to be kept informed of our activities. C4I is obliged to request proof of identity before we can provide you with information about your personal details in our records. You can also submit a request in written form, please include your name, address, telephone number and a copy of a valid proof of identity, addressed to C4I International, Henri Nouwenstraat 34, 3863 HV Nijkerk, The Netherlands.

Email
If you provided your email address to C4I as a subscriber to one of our newsletters and/or newspaper, as donor or as information seeker, you will be informed by email, to keep you up-to-date on ministry developments and results and for incidental requests for a financial contribution.

When sending email newsletters, C4I uses a system that provides insight into the way in which these emails are opened. It is also possible to check whether you clicked the links in our email. With this information C4I can further optimize its information and better tailor it to your interests.

Contact with donors and relations
C4I informs its donors and relations about its work via the newspaper Israel & Christians Today, newsletters, brochures, by email, and/or social media. Regularly, a request is made to support the work of C4I through a financial contribution and prayer.

Visit to our website
C4I uses cookies on its website. These are small text files that are stored on your computer for example to recall which items you added to your shopping cart in our webshop. Furthermore we work with Google Analytics to check how many people visit our website and in what way, since we want to improve our website. Our website is secured with a so-called SSL-certificate through which the information send through our forms is secured.

Security
C4I has taken technical and organizational measures to protect personal data against loss or any form of unlawful processing. In this way we ensure that personal data are only accessible to employees who are authorized to do so and that we only use the personal data for the purposes for which they were obtained and therefore reconcilable purposes.
