Prayer
‘At midnight I rise to give you thanks for your righteous laws.’ Psalm 119:62
The psalmist expresses a deep passion for God’s law. We are reminded of this joy and passion for God’s law in the Jewish feast of Shavuot, which is celebrated early June. Throughout Shavuot and
the Sabbaths in the following two months, we will reflect on Psalm 119. Let us be inspired by the joy of the Jewish people over God’s instructions for life and over His Word that does not perish.
And let us pray and plead with God for His promises of protection for Israel and for the coming of His Kingdom.
Shalom,
