The Hineni Jerusalem Center is an Israeli registered not-for-profit organization whose purpose is to contribute to the betterment of Israeli society. Hineni Jerusalem offers: special programs for survivors of terror, counseling, a soup kitchen, therapy, self-help support groups, workshops, seminars, dialogue groups, cultural performances, holiday celebrations, lectures, commemorations, life cycle events, community center and much more. Through our soup kitchen we provide assistance to thousands of people in need, many of whom are new immigrants. Their situation is often exacerbated by language difficulties, addiction problems, and general feelings of alienation from the surrounding society and culture. The assistance Hineni offers includes over 250 hot meals daily, sanitary facilities, referrals for health problems, various therapies, self-help support groups and a special cooperation with the social workers from the Municipality of Jerusalem. Jewish holiday celebrations are organized for those who lack family and have nowhere to go, in order to provide them with a sense of belonging. Hineni Jerusalem is a not for profit community center, whose purpose is to contribute to the betterment of Israeli society through innovative educational, cultural, and social welfare programs, while building bridges between religious and non-religious Jews, in and outside of Israel.
