The Jaffa Institute
Located in the heart of Jaffa, a suburb of the bustling city of Tel Aviv, the Institute offers food and educational programs for underprivileged children providing them with opportunities to become healthy, productive citizens of Israel. A life of theft, drugs, prostitution or crime is sometimes the only option for the poor and needy children of Jaffa when they have no viable alternative. The Jaffa Institute was born out of love and concern for these less fortunate children of Israel. At The Jaffa Institute children are sure of at least one hot meal each day and are given after-school help by specialized social workers. The touching stories of success are endless as children are carefully guided through the most impressionable years of their lives and encouraged on to higher education and graduation.
